Provided 48 permanent concrete houses to families living in high-risk areas on Maliwaliw Island, Salcedo. It also funded a Level 3 potable water system and an ongoing wild-bee restoration / bee-keeping livelihood project.

Focus turned toward creating financial resilience for families via supporting women's economic livelihood groups, including agro-aqua trade fairs, community stores, and livestock production.

Partnered on projects aimed at climate change adaptation and governance. This collaboration directly funded the community-led rehabilitation of 18 hectares of mangroves across Maliwaliw Island, Bungtod, and Balangiga.

Maintained operations of the Children's Learning Resource Centre at the G2A-Salcedo Village. GDFI also utilized individual donor funds to provide ongoing educational sponsorship for island-community college and Senior High School students.

Partnered on Project SAGIP-Eastern Samar, an initiative comprising five workstreams focused on ecosystem restoration, inclusive governance, economic empowerment, and strengthening local fisherfolk associations.

Displaced families moving to the G2A village left vacant coastal spaces where around 1,000 beach trees and bamboos were planted to create a greenbelt buffer against future typhoons and storm surges.
